A 300-year-old heritage craft from Gujarat’s Kutch region, Rogan painting is meticulously practiced by the Abdul Gafur Khatri family—the sole custodians of this oil-based art form—who draw intricate motifs like the Tree of Life and Moghul paisleys from their folk tradition.
We’ve partnered with Hamid Abdul Khatri to pioneer Rogan on hemp fabric—the first time this art has been rendered on our soft, breathable hemp shirts, marrying sustainable textile innovation with centuries-old craftsmanship.
By showcasing Rogan on Himalayan Hemp cloth, we not only preserve a rare tribal art but also spotlight hemp’s environmental benefits—carbon-negative growth, superior tensile strength and natural breathability—ensuring both the craft and the crop thrive for generations to come.
